Our Clergy

The Rev. Stephanie P. Moncrieff,
Priest in Charge
My chief role as Priest in Charge is to help others discover the ways they are called to serve God and God’s people; then to support, encourage, and empower them to go and do what God created them to do.

I grew up in the Diocese of Texas at St. George's and St. Patrick's, Houston and St. Peter's, Brenham. After graduating from the University of Houston with honors, I served as Social Studies Department Chair at the Rice School in Houston ISD. In 2016, I graduated with a Master of Divinity in Anglican Studies from Brite Divinity School. I was ordained a priest at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth.

My husband and I moved to the area so that he could complete his Family Medicine residency. I most recently served as Clergy Associate for Pastoral Care and Young Adults at Trinity, Fort Worth and as a chaplain at Baylor All Saints’ Hospital, Fort Worth. When I am not writing or visiting parishioners, I enjoy cooking, reading, and walking the trails with Scott and our dog, Buddy.

The Rev. Chuck Lane, Deacon
My chief role as deacon is to proclaim the needs of the world to our Trinity community. I have been a member of Trinity since 1972, except for the 3 years  when I worked for Goodyear Tire Company.

I have been a deacon at Trinity since October 6, 1995. My ministry experience started in 1961, while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in Okinawa. I was fortunate to work with those on the island who had no voice and to work with The Right Rev. Ed Browning.

My diaconal ministry has been working in youth, prison and jail ministry, in the inner city with different cultures, and being a advocate for those less fortunate. I value taking the time to learn and listen to people of different cultures, particularly those who don't have a voice in the community. My interest in coaching sports, especially football led me to serve as varsity football coach of the defensive backs at East High School in Waterloo. My hobbies include reading books about different cultures and watching how people of different cultures interact with each other in communities.
